I'm using IIS8 on Windows 8 and when I open the Web Platform Installer, I'm first prompted to update to WPI 4.5. That isn't working for some reason, but that's another issue. So when I decline the update, after about 5 seconds, IIS crashes...it just closes. In the Event Log, I have the following stack trace:
