I can't access my website using a hostname. http://localhost:50344 works fine and I see my website. But when I bind a hostname such as myhostname to 127.0.0.1(localhost) in the host file and I create a bind in IIS, it gives an error when I try to use that hostname to get to the site. I don't understand how localhost can work but if I use a hostname binded to localhost it does not work. Please help. I've been stuck on this all day.
