Not able to add secondary node to webfarm

I set up a New VM, by importing IIS configuration of other VM, and prepared all the web sites on the new VM. later i stopped the Shared configuration. Then i added the new VM as Primary node on webfarm.

but then whenever i tried to add secondary node to the farm, i am constantly getting this error.

Failed to run operation 'RunRemote'.  Failed to run method 'Microsoft.Web.Farm.SyncApplicationsRemoteMethod' on server 'secondaryserver'.  Exception in response stream.  Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Windows\system32\inetsrv\config\schema'.  Exception in response stream.  Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Windows\system32\inetsrv\config\schema'.

We use win 2008 r2 iis 7.5
