I hope this is the right place to post this question! Forgive me but I am a coder and not much of an expert on IIS7 BUT I'm learning...
Question: We have several mobile devices uploading small text files to our server (2008 R2) with IIs7 and this works great 98% of the time BUT every once in while a device may lose a connection and not get a chance to properly close the file stream(Even though we are still getiing a 200 response??? I thought we should get a 206???) The problem then becomes that when our server app tries to open we get the dreaded "Access denied, File in use by another process" and this seems to persist for minutes??? Is there a way to allow this file to be deleted? IIS7 setting?
