HTTP Error 405.0 - Method Not Allowed

I am getting the below error while trying to access the login page for an application hosted in Windows server

HTTP Error 405.0 - Method Not Allowed
The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) is being used.

We found some suggestins to remove the WebDavModule from the hanlder in the web.config file. But still we are getting the same error.Can someone help on this. Even we added the login.fcc under that physical location, but still no help. Application team recently upgraded the Windows server to Windows 2008 R2.
