Upgraded Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 8 Pro IIS not working

Yesterday I upgraded a Windows 7 Ultimate OS to Windows 8 Pro on a Developement box and I was pleasently surprised that almost everything works in Windows 8 and some of it better.

The one exception is IIS 7.0, it will not start.  Both the WAS and W3SVC are not starting. When I attempt to start these manually I am told that either they are disabled or they have no enabled devices associated with it.

I use TFS through this instance of IIS and as such I am now stuck.  I can't be certain this was broken as a result of the upgrade or whether this was broken prior to the upgrade as I recall getting a warning yesterday (prior to the upgrade) that I could not connect to TFS.

I am about to use the online version of TFS but would like to ensure all code has been checked in however I will also need IIS funtioning on this box for other reasons anyware so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
