I want to use the built-in feature of EE4 to manage the live publishing points on IIS.
When I 'connect' to the publishing point I get a dialog for user and pwd. If I enter a valid user/pwd on the server the restart button appears, but when I click it I get a 401 unauthorized message. If I use the built-in administrator user/pwd I can get it to work, but not with any other user even if I put them in the administrators group.
So how can I configure a user on the server that should only be able to reset/manage the publishing point and nothing else because of security concerns?
I would like to be able to use forms authentication for this instead, but is that at all possible? If possible, how do I set it up?
