Hi All,
i have multiple web services. I want to deploy using WEB PI by specifying web service packages in custom feed xml. I am able to use custom feed & able to install the application.
The issue i am facing is the configuration page shows Application Name & WEB PI creates every time new app pool with same application name as user enters in configuration screen.
Also i have requirement where the application have one parent web service application under which other web service applications reside.
Like service name is A is parent & Service B is child service. So in IIS i want a virtual directory B virtual directory will be under A.
But the configuration page doesn't give facility to set application path so cant create sub directories.
From user perspective he will install the parent application first using WEB PI the the child application he needs to have the facility to specify the parent application path which is available with IIS import application facility.
has anyone came across such scenario your help is much appreciated.
