URL Re-write multiple domains pointing to same folder

Maybe this is a really bad design.

1. I have 3 sites in IIS all pointing to the same folder (I guess this really could have just been one single single site with all the bindings)

2, All three sites have different bindings for their respective domains. I have both the www and non-www setup for each.

3. I was trying to setup URL re-write rules for SEO purposes so the non-www would resolve to the www.

My MVC4 app picks up the domain name and knows what "data" to pull for that domain name.

My questions are the following:

1. Is there a better way to do this in general?

2. Should I leave off the non-www in the binding

3. Is it possible to write some URL re-write rules to handle the perm redirect from the non-www to the respective www domain name. this even thought the rules are getting picked up for all the site (I guess because they point to the same folder).

I was hoping I could just write a rule for each site using regex, but have not been able to get it to work yet.

thanks for any help.
