Hi all,
Is there a way, via the Configuration API Scott Gu blogged about, or otherwise, to let IIS know that our application is still processing background threads and to not kill the worker process once the IdleTimeout is reached?
Please answer this question for me also: What determines a "period of inactivity" as mentioned in the article here describing the IdleTimeout AppPool setting.

Thanks,
Dan
