Query regarding IIS Load Balancing

Hi,

We are planning to implement high availability for two of our web servers. The current setup is as below.

We have two independent webservers (not in domain), hosting independant websites (more than one websites in each webservers). The database for these two websites are in another two different servers, which themselves has got high availability. As I told earlier, each webservers are running more than one websites in them. Each websites are binded with different IP Address. (The webservers are assinged with more than one IPv4 addresses).

We are planning to implement Network Load Balancing. The plan which we have identified is as below.

1. Create copies of websites in both webservers, so that the two webservers has identical websites in each of them. The webfiles will be saved locally on each of the webservers

2. Create DFS replication between the two webservers, so that any changes made to the webconfiguration of any of the website will be replicated to the other

3. Introduce two other webservers, and configure Network Load Balancing and ARR. So that the frontend webservers will route the incoming web traffic to the appropriate webservers and get load balancing feature also.

What is confusing me is, Where should I add the different IP Addresses of the websites? Should I add it to the virtual IP Address of the NLB?

Can someone guide me in the right direction if I am wrong?

Thanks,

Tom :-)
