IIS ARR vs MS UAG

Hi, our company woould like to setup a reverse proxy for remote users access. We would like to implement Lotus Traveller for mobile users and our Globalpartner recommended a plan for security purposes and the reverse proxy will be facing the internet before passing through our company's firewall.

For Systems Admins, my first question is, which is better IIS ARR? or MS UAG?

The only thing I've read about MS UAG is that it is going to reach its EOL and tried to research on ARR, just an add-on to IIS 7 and I'm guessing much easier to configure.

My second question is: anyone who has setup ARR before? I appreciate some help :) and if reverse proxy has been configured, How do I verify if it is functioning as a reverse proxy? Sorry for this, never used a reverse proxy before.

Thanks in advance

Jeff
