Sudden "the server a computer setup to offer multimedia content to other computers.." error

I have a client that has been streaming in h.264 HTTP smooth streaming format from EE4sp2 to my W2K8 box for the past couple years.  On and off we had issues, but as of the last 4-5 days suddenly we are running into network disconnect issues.  A new error that we have not seen before that states: "The server, a computer set up to offer content to other computers, could not handle your request for multimedia content in a timely manner. Please try again later" has started to pop up.  My server is at a tier 1 data center that can handle large volumes of outgoing streams.  The client's four encoders from two distinct locations, all receive the error at about the same time and get disconnected.  Another problem is that sometimes it runs for hours, sometimes for couple hours, and other times it quits within a few minutes.  I am totally puzzled as other than typical Windows updates, nothing else has changed in the setup.  I am at a total loss and ready to switch to other streaming solutions.  The "server, a computer..." error never appeared until last Thursday.  The server is showing event id 3012, 3014, etc.

Anyone has any ideas?

Thanks.
