I have hosted a website on the IIS 7.5 on Window server 2008 R2.The website is using .net framework 4.0 with the window authentication on.
It works fine on client machine except for it gets frozen and after a few seconds it prompts window login box. it doesn't work even after entering correct username and password. User have to click cancel and have to close the screen and reopen it to make it work.
It is very random. but it seems to happen only when the window was open for a long time.
Not sure if this makes any difference in finding a solution but this usually happens on a window which was opened by window.open()
