Hello everyone,
Once in a while my production web server's lsass.exe process becomes the top user of CPU, using about 60-80% of it. During these times my web server becomes unbearably slow. There's one heavy-duty .NET app that all 2,000 users in the company uses - when I recycle that app's app pool, the server returns to normal performance after about 5-10 minutes. Why is lsass.exe going off the deep end on my server? I know there's a hotfix out there for an lsass bug, and I will deploy that soon, but I'm not totally convinced that's the problem. I know about the lsass virus and it's not that. So what could it be? Hope I gave the forum enough information.
