Newby needs help with data transfer query!

Hi,

We're using Windows Server 2008 and IIS7 to provide some mapping solutions and I'm trying to figure out the total data transfer to and from the server. I've installed Log Parser and run the following query on an IIS log:

logparser "SELECT COUNT(sc-bytes) FROM D:\logs_BAK\W3SVC1\u_ex130228.log" -i:IISW3C -e:10

This gives a count of all sc-bytes as 0, the elements processed were 251,584, elements output was 1.

I've also tried the same query for cs-bytes and it also gives a count of all cs-bytes as 0, also with 251,584 elements processed and 1 element output. I've tried the same query on a couple of other logs and again it gives a total count of sc-bytes and cs-bytes as 0.

Can this be right? I was expecting a number bigger than 0...

Cheers,

Mike
