I am trying to install a forum for the first time. I am doing this on a Windows Server 2012 with IIS 8 but I'm coming across an issue that goes on about redirect loops. For example:
"This webpage has a redirect loop The webpage at
http://xxxxxx.com/install/index.php?install/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.
Here are some suggestions: Reload this web page later. Learn more about this problem. Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects."
I've posted on the actual forum's forum about the error and nobody has seem to come across it before on any other web server (someone posted about it working on IIS 7.5). Does anybody know how I can get round this error?
