Hi, I'll explain my system and the question is at the end.
this is my current installation: 2 computers with IIS installed on each (one is II6 and ther other one is 7) and each server have website directory on its own hard drive. The website directory content is the same, so I have to update both computer at the same time.
Now I'm planning to buy a NAS device to share my files over my home network so both computer will access the same file. But my 2 computers are not always running at the same time so I want to install IIS on each computer and they will use their own server but with the same file directory (on the NAS device).
So can 2 IIS server use the same file directory over a network ?
