I was told that I needed to generate a SAN certificate by using the MMC on our Windows Server 2008 R2 machine since we couldn't find an option to do this in IIS. After generating the certificate, and getting it signed by our CA, we've tried everything to get it to import into IIS, but it won't bind to the site.
Is this because we've generated the certificate outside of IIS? I was wondering if anyone had issues with this previously, and had options to fix it?
