PKD

I'm experiencing strange behaviour on one of my Servers and I'd like to see if anyone can give me a clue as to what's going on.

Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise

if I make a Default.aspx file containing PKD I get very erratic behaviour from our server.

Sometimes it just displays PKD, sometimes it refuses to load the page, sometimes it brings up a File Save dialog box asking me to save the file named PKD.HTM, sometimes it brings up a file save dialog box asking me to save the file named PKD.ZIP

Thinking it is some sort of Legacy problem, or a file association maybe?

Now, I understand that this isn't something you would normally do, but I would like to know why IIS is behaving in this fashion just by adding this particular combination of letters to an ASPX file.

Our server is on an intranet so I can't post a URL.

Any thoughts?
