We have an ongoing issue with all our IIS 7 servers and PHP. When you delete files from within PHP, such as updating/removing a plugin within wordpress for example, the delete process does not complete and the entire folder becomes locked by PHP and then cannot
be used, so it then becomes impossible for users to do anything that involves that folder, which in the case of wordpress, Joolma or similar, no plugins can be installed or updated. I am using an unlocker tool to resolve this when it happens, but it happens
continuously and I really need to find a solution to stop it from happening. anyone else had this and got any ideas ?
