WebMatrix MySQL password

So... I create a MySQL database with WebMatrix. It asks for DB, server, user, pass. I must use the MySQL user and password or it fails. After creation, I use a script to create schema and data, but i can't connect to it in PHP using those credentials. In the WebMatrix Database workspace, I can right click on the database, and select 'Copy connection string', but the password is masked.

WHERE IS THE PASSWORD? I have searched and searched and searched, but the only suggestions that might actually work is to force reset the main root, and assign the passwords manually, which is just dumb. HOW CAN I GET THE PASSWORD THAT WEBMATRIX CREATED? There is no web.config. There are no settings to find. The only place the password should be, it is masked.

Seriously, I have wasted hours on what should just simply work. WHERE IS THE PASSWORD?
