This may have been answered already but after a 4 weeks looking I've pulled out all my hair.
I have a shared folder that holds individual users folders. The group has read access but the individual has full control over their own folder. That is the NTFS permissions on my 2008 server.
The virtual directory that I create for webdav is the shared folder.The authorisation rule is 'All' for the virtual directory. The individual folder listed under it show up fine. I've enable Basic Authentication and use https to access the virtual directory.
What I want to know is how do I get IIS 7.5 to follow NTFS permissions without having to set an authorisation rule on each individual folder.
