How to force browser to show current page and not cached page, site changes, etc.?

I've watched videos of people like Scott Forsyth, etc. make changes in IIS, refresh their browser and immediately see the NEW page behavior as you would expect, and not a cached page.

How do you do that? How do you KNOW, after you've made a config change in IIS, that you're truly seeing what you SHOULD see and not a cached result?

I know I could go into the browser (IE, Firefox, etc.) and turn off the caching of pages, etc., but that shouldn't really be needed when you're making changes to IIS to view immediate site, page, etc. changes, or is it?

I'm trying to improve my IIS skills, but whenever *I* make changes, it seems as though my browser (no matter which one I use) is just re-serving me the same, cached page.

Suggestions? Comments?

Thank you,

Ed
