use HTTPS to browse locally used site

I have a website used locally in my domain using IIS7 installed on windows 2008. Now this website is binded to HTTP. I need to bind it using HTTPS.

I searched around and i saw that its possible with the following solution (correct me if im wrong)

to install an Enterprise CA and use it to issue a certificate that can be used on ISS and add an HTTPS binding to the website using this certificate.

If the above is possible is their any website that describe what need to be done in details?
