Hi there
We are currently migrating a centralized app server from W2003+IIS6 to W2008R2+IIS7.
Many clients applications (deployed all around the world since several years) make intensive usage of FTP to synchronize content with the central server.
Here's our problem : the behavior of the CWD command without parameter changed between the 2 versions of IIS :
- IIS6 : equivalent to CWD /
- IIS7 : stay in the current working directory
Not to be said that these CWD commands without arguments can be considered as a huge dev mistake, as it is not standard...
But.. Our problem is that we are not able to send a bug fix to older versions of our clients.
The question is : Is that possible to reproduce the old IIS6 behavior by any trick around IIS 7 config ?
Thanks in advance to who may help !
Regards from Paris (and sorry for my froggy english)
