I have seperate webdeploy packages for (1) the app pool , (2) the site and (3) an application (under the site). The deployment are always executed under the same admin user.
When I deploy the site package, the desired behaviour is that the underlying application is deleted.
this is working correctly when the application is not running, but when it's running I get following error in msdeploy 3 (and 2 as well).
Is there a solution, or a workaround?
