strange urls

Hi all,

I'm concerned about strange urls that are recognize and processed by IIS.

It seams that if you add the string (S(whateneveryouwant)) as a subfolder in a IIS website url, it works as if this string was not present.

One simple example with the following url in this forum: http://www.iis.net/downloads

You can acces this page, also with http://www.iis.net/(S(whateneveryouwant))/downloads or for instance http://www.iis.net/(S(whateneveryouwantcanbeanything))/downloads

Anyone has information about that behaviour ?

Thanks,
